I’ve been loving the long days of summer, but I can’t hide that I’m already counting down the days till fall. There’s something about sweaters, coats, boots, and endless layers that I find so comforting. It’s by far my favorite season and I can’t help but notice all the new season styles that are starting to pop up in stores and online. In case you’re in the process of revamping your wardrobe, I wanted to share the Fall 2019 fashion trends that are on my wishlist.
I’m not usually one to wear a ton of colors or patterns in an outfit, but I can never turn down a good animal print piece. Whether it’s snake skin or leopard, I’m excited to bring out my boots and slip dresses once the temperatures dip! Leopard is going to be everywhere this fall and I can’t wait to see how all the fashion It-girls are bringing it into the streets.
At the start of fall each year, I look forward to giving my outerwear an update. And there are so many styles I’m smitten with right now, including capes, trench coats, and the classic camel coat (this one is so good and affordable too!). Layer it over a turtleneck sweater and pair it with culottes and booties for a cool yet polished ensemble.
All Over Knitwear
Knitwear is always on trend during the colder months, but this upcoming season, it’s going to be all about knit on knits. I’m loving this affordable style and can’t wait to pair it with a wool coat and cashmere scarf in the same color family. Knitted neutrals will always look luxe and sophisticated no matter the occasion.
Lace Up Boots
Fall 2019 is all about tough biker boots with laces and buckles. I’m loving the edgier addition to pair with my leather pants and moto jackets. It’s such a great way to balance out more delicate fabrics like cashmere and lace.
Everyone knows that a blazer is a fall staple, but rather than a classic black style, opt for camel tones, plaid prints, and tweed textures. You can also put a novel spin on it by cinching it at the waist with your favorite leather belt. It’s a great way to mix polish with some edge – and layer up for the brisk temperatures.
